Riverview Cabin Retreat
Let us introduce ourselves to you, we are Brian and Chris Petska,
owners of the Riverview Cabin Retreat and we would like to welcome
you to what we think is one of Nebraska's most unique get-a-away
spots to spend a peaceful and relaxing time away from your busy
hectic schedule.
The cabin is all new, smoke free, tastefully
decorated in hunter green, fully equipped with all the comforts
of home and sleeps six comfortably. One bedroom
has a queen sized bed and the other has two sets of super sized twin bunk
beds. The bath has two seated shower. The small gathering
room has two
leather sofas which recline for further comfort. The kitchen
has everything you need
including a dishwasher. No need to bring linens or dishes. All you need is
your own food. The new barbecue grill is a bonus on those wonderful
evenings!
Enjoy the scenic surroundings of the North Loup River Valley
by taking a hike to watch the deer, pheasants, and turkeys.
Or the seasonal bald eagles, geese, ducks, and pelicans! There
are
two major fishing ponds near the cabin for more enjoyment.
Clean your catch of the day at our newly installed cleaning
stand.
Located in scenic central Nebraska, six miles northwest of
Ord on Highway 11 and 1/2 east, 1/4 north -- one hour from Grand
Island, two hours from Lincoln, and three hours from Omaha.
While you stay here, you may also enjoy the many points of
interest this area has to offer: Fort Hartsuff, The Country Neighbor,
The Calamus Reservoir and Fish Hatchery, the Burwell Rodeo and
the Happy Jack Chalk Mines. Enjoy shopping in Ord and Burwell
and visit many unique stores and beautiful parks, and much much
more!
